Bad luck with the hay fever Will, I love Springtime. Here we are having some rain after a few days of strong sunshine and the trees are heavy with shiny new leaves.

The only downside is that the leaves cover up my view of the sea from my study window.

Sounds awesome e!

I can't claim to have such a wonderful view... all I have is a forest of high rises and suburbia to look out to... although sometimes, especially as the sun sets, even suburbia can project a certain beauty...

Spring is also starting to settle here... the buds are finally on the trees here in Toronto... we've had some beautiful almost summer like weather recently. I hope it keeps up.

e, where are you located that you get a view of the sea, you lucky bloke you? Anyone else have a view of the sea?

No, sure wish I did though. My view is a small park with a white gazebo....about a dozen trees whose bare tips have turned from bare sticks, to red buds, and now have little green puffs. soon the leaves will be catching the breeze and offering shade to the dog walkers and children who don't want to stay inside. this time of year wakes me up with a sense of adventure!

My parents have a wonderfull little blossom tree in their front yard... the thing was but a twig when we first moved into the house (and so was I, hehe). Since then both of us have grown and it has turned into quite the sight at this time every year... I often muse on this little twig and what it has become... now my daughter loves to play under its shade... does anyone else count the years through the trees?

For me this is an energizing time of the year. Autumn is a sentimenatl time for me, but Spring is a time to start living again.

Smoki,

Spring has been unusually warm here too... I've strated going running again and I think I might have overdone it too... the wind was blowing from the north today and it was rather cool (although still seasonally so).
