Subject: Dr Yunus, a man of distinction
Dr Yunus is an economist. He has, against the normal economic traditions demonstrated and proliferated lifting up the poor out of poverty by loaning them the bootstraps to do so, and with a 97% success rate.

The worth of what this man has accomplished raises his name to a status of one the greats of men. The world leaders should sit down and take some lessons from him. Maybe they could learn how to respect people and in turn, learn to make a worthy use of themselves.

It has been suggested that a day may come soon when we have poverty museums to show how people of the world use to live.

They say that his model is being copied all over the world and in the USA too. I hope that it is in earnest being tried. I have yet to see a real copy here, but I think this would be the last place is would be allowable in earnest. The only micro lending I have seen on the west coast of the US is the most predatory lending model I have ever seen. Even the do nothing congress has written a bill to protect the soldiers from it. Does anyone know of Dr Yunus’s model being implemented anywhere outside of Bangladesh?
