Subject: Longing to see you again
wandering about lost in grief,
thinking again about that which has left.
an ache.
a tear.
lost for a moment.
ah there you are, the picture so clear in my mind.
a smile appears, remembering your face, your smell, your feel, your love.
comfort soothes the longing to see you again.

Wonderful Doug, you know lose and grief are the most powerful feelings very difficult to deal with particularly if it overcomes you unexpected and you had no time to be prepared, but even so, how can you prepare yourself for grief? To let go and say goodbye is something I am not the best off, it’s rather my weakest point I must admit.

Remembering him being in pain for a long time, and thinking of him being free of all the things he had suffered in this house, I thing he is in heaven now, watching all the things going on in this house he had build for a happy family, but all destroyed by some evil. They came and tuck to posses without a thank you what was build with sweet and pain, now the chalice is empty and they are all gone. Someone have to sweep the flour and switch off the light I know but please don’t look at me, I don’t want to destroy the rest of it all. Let him do it, it’s him who have the heart of ice just thinking of the profit it will bring him, hungry as he is without being sated. Poor soul wants it all to be the winner up here, so let him win and I’ll take the memory of you, all the good thinks you have teached me. Wonder who teached him for greet, sure it wasn’t you, must have been those who came out of their sneak hole, to turn wine into water for us. Never mind I’ll drink water imagine it’s your wine for me.

Well Doug those are some words I would have liked to say to my grandfather before he past the way. The third person is my brother and the Jehovah Witnesses throwing the dice and taking the rest of what’s left.

Simple, eloquent, and beautifully worded. I really enjoyed reading this.

That was in memory of my grandfather when he expected me to look after the family home which had put me under great pressure, because of my brother and the Jehovah Witnesses, both are after this house. Now I will do it like this king (can’t remember his name anymore) don’t want to do politic just breading chickens and looking after them.
I just let go!

A very wise comment, unfortunately I couldn’t keep my promise which was looking after the house and safe it for the next generation as he wanted me to. Hopefully he can forgive me as I had given up fighting for any materialistic things; it’s not worth it anymore. To give is much better than taking because there could be a malediction on something which doesn’t belong to them. We shall see if it makes them happy. He just has a hand full money without memories, once his money is gone, he will have empty hands but my memories are still there.

Morgena,

The house (i.e., the physical building) is not that important... what it represented: the hopes and dreams, the happy and sad memories, the love and growing... is what counts...

... if you took that with you...

... you have taken flight.
