Have you ever read the Quran SUNLIGHT? It would be helpful for me and probably everyone else if you read it and then wrote a book report (not too long) that had all the important parts and the parts you liked best or parts you thought could be better, et cetera. Please be sure to include your beliefs if you so desire. smiling face

Race wars were "then" in American pop-reality and they've come back into focus here, "now" again, too. Maybe bell-bottom pants will come back around again, who knows?

I had a copy and started to read it, but I was working with a Muslim and he started explaining different parts of the teachings to me. We had some very interesting conversations that usually started with a question about beliefs. There were several times when he came to me with a question like "How does the Easter Bunny fit in with the Christian celebration of Easter", and I would have to explain that it didn't, it was something made up outside of Christianity.

yes Pattie I have read the Quran several times ...the problem that I and other Christians have with the QURAN is the statement that GOD has no son which challenges Christian belief that GOD does have a son and is name is JESUS so it is obvious that some one is wrong nod

..

That's right doc ...and its clear that these other non biblical beliefs arose and were encouraged by the catholic church ...remember doc that the first Christian (catholic) roman emporor Constantine was a PAGAN before he converted to his so called Christianity and when he changed to his form of Christianity he took in many pagan practises and disguised them as Christian practises and beliefs just type into your browser "the origin of the easter bunny " and you will see it w practised in some form long before the birth of Christ...peace
