Subject: the iran deal
I’m time-pressed (I’m always friggin’ time-pressed) so I haven’t paid the attention I could or should to events.

Question: Is there anything in the agreement prohibiting Iran from using the sanction relief (100 to 150 billion) to buy a ready-made atomic (and delivery system)?

well any deal or agreement that will mke more money for the makers of arms and weapons of war would be a good agreement they sometimes encourage certain conflicts aming nations because the ensuing increase in buying new weapons of war will make more money for them , but henry you know more about these things than I do so I will welcome your take on this as you could offer a better explanation....thumb up

Sun,

Assuming the deal doesn't prohibit such a thing (and, assuming Iran abides by the deal) Iran will have to approach a nation to buy an atomic and delivery system.

I'm thinkin' Putin would sell one to Iran just to give a finger to the U.S..

I think you are right henry, and the Russians from time to time seem to like to test America and whoever is president see how far they can go and whether the president is strong or weak , the classic example was krushchev and kennedy, I was surprised to see in the office of Obama how many times Russian submarines have been seen of the coast of west America and recently two u.s fighter jets were scrambled to intercept Russian nuclear bomber seen in the sky near American shores, are they testing the current American leadership ?

"are they testing the current American leadership ?"

Saber rattling is part and parcel of the global transaction.

No so much about the current leadership as it is a reminder of what a commie said some time back: "We will bury you."
