"I had an idea to make a electromagnet suspension bike."

Good on you.

Make it and hover away, spammer.

I took you to be a spammer (had a recent infestation of 'em).

If you're not a spam-meister, tell us about your hover bike.

it truly does suck tht this bike wont be up and running for who knows how long because at the moment a power source that will be able to power it is either none existent in the making like the pure lithium battery or unattainable i plan to make the wheels superconducting magnets ill keep the look as similar to a regular bike as possible linear electromagnet actuators will be how it moves

Seems to me (and I don't know crap) that if it uses magnetics, your bike will be a version of meg-lev, yes?

I know just enough to know I don't know much... wink

So: if your hover bike uses mag-lev that means it'll run on a guide rail, yes?

If so, it'll just be glorified handcar, yes?

And if it runs on a guide rail, it can only go where the rails go. So if the rails don't go where you want, you're S.O.L.

I'd prefer to see more mag-lev trains in existence. Good point.

Doc,
Any experience with model mag-lev trains, if they even exist?

No, but it sounds possible using electromagnets in the rail and permanent magnets in the train. By controlling the magnetism in the rail you can control the speed and position of the train.

Yeah, I Googled and YouTubed maglev model trains, and there's some successful designs. A maglev bike would be sweet.

How is the development of the bike coming along?

To make this concept work you would need some kind of magnetic material in the roadway, Iron or steel rails or plates. If there is no magnetic material for the magnets in the bike to work against there will be no lift.
