Subject: S#!t the couch says...
Thread for your own crazy quotes.

Will start with one of my own:

(At the Old Country Buffet)
AKG: Don't sit next to me, sit in that chair there.
Son: Why? I want to sit next to you!
AKG: Son, this place is all-you-can-eat. I need room to expand!

From my college days. My roommate threw up on the floor and didn't clean it up. I walked down the hall with a blanket and pillow saying, "Can I borrow a piece of your floor?"

I've counted to 11,664 on my rosary (hindu mala) hoping for divine inspiration but nothing has come to mind.

I must assume there is a message, expected and inevitable, written in a language I don't know very close by.

I've looked into the toilet and the television for the auspice (quote), in the soft swirls of my own and others excretions.

Alas, what you see is what you get.

The Couch is dead (or it is the shroud enclosing something that must be dead).

Few would have the courage to sit on a casket that may or may not contain the dead. Of course a coffin disguised as a chair is somewhat ironical in its message: "Please sit, oh but not here as you might offend the living relations of the deceased."

"If they are not around and no one minds? Okay, sit. Have some tea or coffee. A cookie and a brownie."

But if the deceased were God, in which the absence of proof is not the proof of absence, the corpse is then held aloft by intuition and imagined. If there is no evidence for God maybe he dissolved a long time ago, decayed back into the unconscious field of nature. The gorgeous aesthetics of the funeral and mourning is now to be sealed, sanctified and circumscribed by endless fetishes of culture. The death of God becomes a Feng Shui of materials associated with him (aesthetic flow).

What does God signify?

Flight or Fall

Rather, sailing on a magnificent structure across a blue surface. God's coffin is a ship set adrift in the seas of cosmic exploration. Welcome aboard the ark, brimming with more information than you could shake 10,000 sticks at.

Nihil Loc, your posts make me think of an immortal intelligence left aboard a vessel adrift for in the cosmos after its crew has abandoned ship. Alone, unable to determine if its ramblings to itself indicate enlightenment or madness.

Good luck to you, my friend.

Not me, for sure, but someone:

"I wasn't looking, so I spilt it carefully"
