The environmental damage is certainly accumulating. Of course, I'm much more concerned about what this means for humanity on the time scale of the next few centuries than the Earth itself. At some point the environment won't be able to support our civilization and if the tipping point is sharp, our civilization will collapse catastrophically and our species could face extinction. (This has happened to small, isolated populations and their civilizations in the past.)

On the time scale of millions of years, the Earth will be fine though.
