Subject: The Wisdom Of Children
I truly think that we have a lot we can learn from children. Elders teach from experience. But youngest children have something else that, in my opinion at least, is more precious: innocence.

Children want to get love. They want to show love. They want to have fun and they want others to have fun as well. Many genuinely care about even what they don't understand. They want to help. They don't see the future. They focus on the present. They tend to understand that they are special as is everyone else.

They tend to not care about money. Instead, children care about time. Though they don't understand the concept of time well, they do know it is important and would rather spend it having a blast with the people they love than causing problems for people they don't know.

There's something to be said for that. Some say children are ignorant of the problems in the world. I wouldn't call it ignorance in the slightest. I think it's a profound wisdom that tends to disappear as society invades more and more of their hearts and souls over time.

One of the most interesting things to do with young children is to just let them take the conversation wherever they want. Just follow them along and they will take you to the most interesting places that your own imagination could never do by itself.
