Subject: A Pyrrhonian Skeptic
My truth is merely this:

I know nothing
Less than nothing
In a constant state of inquiry
I do not have a better theory
I have no answers to my queries
How dreary! Even eerie!
That I am left with existence merely
Is it this thing called fate?
Or in realizing the truth am I too late?
The truth cannot be understood
Or can it? I sometimes wish I could

I am nothing
Less than nothing
When compared to all these others
Who believe in their sisters and brothers
Their fathers and their mothers
And when I am left to my druthers
I would rather KNOW I had another
But I do not, nor will I ever
Be able to feel together
With someone I cannot believe in
Even my own “body” might be deceiving

Is there nothing?
Less than nothing?
I want to try to fight it;
This urge for truth. Deny it!
The truth will not come... might it?
I hate existence, spite it
Where the truth cannot be sighted
All I ever wanted was to gain some facts
It seems with the devil I made a pact
To think my thoughts and seek my soughts
In doing so, I will be achieving naught

And when the nothingness takes me
I will be left unsatisfied
For knowledge will always forsake me
Regardless of the life I have led –
I will still have failed and died

There are several of my things I want to publish, if possible, but I have no idea how to go about it. Any suggestions?

I got some articles published in newspapers but I am as much of novice as you are. Only possible suggestion is: More than money and resources you need 'persistence' to get published--in every sense of the word.

Getting a copyright seems to be a matter of registering it, and publishing could be simple, go to a printer (Not a copy store, a real printing shop) and self Publish. The more copies you have printed the lower the cost per copy, up to a point.

That might be OK to a point, but not everyone has, or wants, access to Kindle.

i would say that's true of anywhere you publish. not everyone wants a kindle, but not everyone wants a book on paper either, not everyone wants a newspaper, or a particular magazine. self-publishing on kindle has the great advantage of reaching a wide audience with little overhead cost (you don't have to pay for paper or printing). so you could sell your book on kindle for as low as 99 cents and still make some money at it.

Why just Kin, I would also like to publish on Kindle and make a few bucks if possible. laughing

But I have a question lib: I don't know if you have already published on Kindle, do you think that you have to write a book of stories or a novelette to publish? I mean, what should be the 'plan' to publish if you are newbie? Thanks in advance.

yes, you too, that's why i said "to all you writers out there" smiling face thumb up

i have not yet published on kindle, but i plan to and i know people who have. from what i understand, there is no minimum length but if the book is too short, people will feel like they've been ripped off and sales will do poorly. here's another link with some discussion on the topic:

www.warriorforum.com/main-i...-length-ebooks-kindle.html

and another blog post about it:
