Subject: Tendulkar's Block or Batsman's Block!
There is something called Writer's Block and I wrote an article suggesting a few things which might end it effectively in my article Easily End Writer's Block. But I feel that there is something more intriguing and more urgent happening in the world of Cricket which might be called Tendulkar's Block or Batsman's Block. What is Tendulkar's Block? Let me use definition of Writer's Block from Wikipedia to define Tendulkar's Block.

Tendulkar's block is a condition, primarily associated with Batting(Cricket) as a profession, in which a batsman loses the ability to score a new century. The condition varies widely in intensity. It can be trivial, a temporary difficulty in dealing with the task at hand. At the other extreme, some "blocked" batsmen have been unable to score a century for years on end, and some have even abandoned their careers.[citation needed]. Throughout history Tendulkar’s block has been a documented problem . References to Batsman’s struggle with the affliction touch greats Gavaskar and Tendulkar and Ganguly and many others. It can manifest as the affected batsmen viewing their work as inferior or unsuitable under immense pressure on verge of some swan song or on verge of some great historic record, when in fact it could be the opposite.

In first Asia cup match against Sri Lanka Sachin Tendulkar was out for 6 as the wait for his 100th ton continued. His last international century came a year ago, on March 12, 2011, against South Africa; since then 143 international tons have been scored in Tests, ODIs and T20s. Of those, 18 were scored by Indians including 6 by Kohli and 5 by Rahul Dravid!

I am too inexperienced and ignorant to suggest how to end Tendulkar's Block, but perhaps you the reader might be able to tell a few things to immediately end it, effectively and forever.

Tendulkar scored his 100th century on the very next day, but he has been waiting for it since last one year.
