Subject: The girl with the dragon tattoo
I'm reading it, and loving it. A very tense, dark mystery. Rare for me to find a fiction novel so compelling (I felt similarly toward "The Silence of the Lambs"). Was surprised to learn that it (the girl with the dragon tattoo) was not published until after the author's death, what a shame for him to have missed out on its success.

Looking forward to Fincher's adaptation, which opens in theaters next week. Has anyone here seen the Swedish version? What did you think of it? Worth checking out? I heard it was very good, but I'm much looking forward to Fincher's version, starring Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, and featuring music by Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails.

Here's the 8-minute trailer of Fincher's version:

I've only read the books. But the storyline certainly was great.
A film based on those is a guarantied hit. smiling face

I watched this movie yesterday, but did not find it enthralling when compared to other favorites in mystery genre, still, you may have a good time watching it for once!

i tried to watch the swedish version, could not get into. the actress who plays the title character did not do a good interpretation of the character, in my opinion. i thought the american version was a good adaptation, you may like it better.
