Subject: Do You Support Conscription?
What do you think of Conscription? Do you think that it's universally valid or should be dependent on situations in a country? Or are you totally against it?

The reality: those 'in' power will establish whatever compulsory service they can, to promote or protect whatever agenda(s) they have.

Not to be adversarial, but: it's irrelevant what 'I' (as one NOT 'in' power) thinks about conscription.

Certainly: I'll never march, in fatigues, for the powers that be, but that choice is mine, based on my criteria, and is wholly apart from what is 'legal' and 'just' (as established by 'them').

If another chooses to be compelled, well, that's on him or her.

I think, my views are quite similar on this.

ah, good question! i had to look up the word conscription. i think here in the U.S. i've always heard it referred to as "the draft".

i think military enrollment should be voluntary.

I agree. For me both 'conscription' and 'the draft' are foreign terms! sticking out tongue
