Subject: Who is the smartest member on this forum?
Hey, just wanting to see who the smartest person (in your own opinion) is on this forum. I'm just getting used to it around here, but I've been reading posts. I absolutely hate people who are intolerant, I think this will make a good discussion because everyone here seems very nice and kind. I wish all sarcastic and bitter people would go away, which would leave only the smarties! Ok, thoughts?!

A better question might be who is the kindest person on this forum.

Lib is very kind but she still has to bear with the old hacks here, like me.

thank you nihil, that's sweet of you.

mummo is banned, by the way. it's clear now from his IP address that he's the same as "jesuses girlfriend", "homofag", "negrolesbian" and all the other pseudonyms that yann has been using of late.

aw thank you thinker. considering the ratio of regular visitors here to the amount of trolling that goes on, i don't think this forum is a target any more or less so than other forums. here's a link that i think answers your question:

mummo's most recent post in the dream interpretation thread may help answer your question as well.

Thanks lib. I had already thought about trolling; in fact, I had started a topic-"Internet Trolling".

Just curious to know: How do you think that the post in the dream thread, by this person --is not intentionally made out of thin air, but rather, description of a genuine dream(Dreams are not 'genuine')?

whether it's a genuine dream or something the person made up, it comes from the same source (subconscious inspiration) & the interpretation is the same.

i think yann is perhaps trying to make the point in the dream thread that he considers us his friends. it doesn't make attacking anyone any more acceptable, of course, but it's worth noting.

doug, aka iammyaspectofus, was just as persistent for a while. maybe it's a way of feeling like people care about you during a time when you feel like no one does. it's unfortunate when people get in that frame of mind, but condoning & tolerating the behavior doesn't make things any better. yann was a valued member here for a while, doug was too. it makes me sad to see things go this way. it also makes me appreciate that not everyone does this.

thanks all, grateful.
