i had to google mankinis. wow, yeah, they are pretty horrific. eek

the idea of having your underwear straps hoisted over your shoulders conjures, for me at least, the idea of an ultimate wedgie, which is just not an attractive connotation. shaking head

Do you think that it is uncomfortable to wear laughing. In 'The Tough Guy' challenge it was compulsory to wear it,so seems to be difficult to cope withwink. Or may be it is not that tough!

Since you do not have to wear them only in such competitions,it seems to me that they do not classify as 'wedgie'. They are not a form of bullying . Are they? Do you think that they have been invented to be used only for ragging someone?

Yes,it was so,still, they are extrapolation of bikini/monokini concept, methinks and hence are as useful,if not more,in swimming and related tasks.

So no one thinks they complement the masculine frame of a man's body? The V-shaped torso, and the powerful shoulders?

What is so terrible about the mankini for you?

Librtygirl, it is not underwear, by the way, it is swim or beachwear. I don't suspect it would be any more uncomfortable than a thong. In fact it would be more hygeinic for men, because women run the risk of infecting their front private parts with bacteria from the back parts as the fabric shifts from rear to front when moving limbs between extremes of motion. nod

i really don't. it's a matter of aesthetic taste, one i can't readily justify anymore than i already have. if a man had suspenders strapped to his speedos, i wouldn't find it appealing either.

cheers,

Seems not to be a good inference.
