lib, how would you feel about a Star Trek themed story, that uses concepts from the Star Trek universe, such as the starship (and associated technologies), rank, United Federation, and various races (like Vulcans), but no recognizable characters (using original characters, and set in the far future, even from the ST serieses), that was billed as 'fan fiction'?

Paramount seems to support fan fiction to a degree, so I doubt there would be any potential legal ramifications.

hey M,

i think if it's billed as fan fiction it should be no problem.
